A few words
Much of this piece was drawn outside in my backyard during the beginning of Spring, surrounded by budding baby greens all around me. I first drew the trees, which were inspired by a row of trees not so far from where I was sitting, and then the children with their colourful little outfits, frolicking in nature, playing with the leaves and their friends. Sometimes I draw things that I long for, or of scenes of life that I would like to return to (because they might be hard to attain in reality) — but sometimes drawing them is enough to feel the peace and joy contained within them.
